Art & Music Club Day
MCC Art & Music club day was held on 23rd August 2024. The program was divided into two sessions.
Session I: On the occasion of club day, the club visited the Mizoram Academy of Arts, Mission Veng where the club was warmly welcomed by Artist John Zochhuanawma, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Kala Bhavana Institute of Fine Arts College, Santiniketan (West Bengal). Using the title ‘Everyone is Born an Artist’, our club members are taught various artistic techniques including figure drawing from basic shapes, pottery, sculpting, and other interesting art styles. These teachings which were conducted through practical demonstration proved to be extremely fruitful for the club.
Session II: For the Afternoon Session, Lalremsanga, a Bachelor in Music from the University of Wolverhampton, UK delivered an intriguing lecture on general music theory and also graced the club members with an exhilarating performance, both of which were extremely beneficial for the listeners.
