Activities of Alumni

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! The establishment of MCC has been a long-standing vision of the Mizoram Presbyterian Synod since 1995. Despite initial challenges, its realization today brings great joy to the Church and the people of Mizoram. With collective support, MCC aims to grow into a center of excellence in higher education.

Christian contributions to education in India are widely recognized, and the Church in Mizoram remains committed to this mission. Historically, while Mizoram was a district of Assam, elementary education was managed by the Church until the District Council took over. Schools under Church management were known for their high academic standards and moral values. Understanding the transformative power of education, the Church continues to run schools in mission fields, playing a vital role in societal upliftment.

Concerned about declining moral and ethical values, the Church has revived schools in cities, towns, and villages, ensuring quality education. Their success is attributed to dedicated teachers selected with care and a strong missionary commitment beyond monetary concerns. Believing in its role as the "salt and light of the world," the Church dedicates its resources to training young minds for service and leadership while instilling Christian values for societal transformation.

MCC is a minority institution under constitutional provisions, upholding its Christian identity while being inclusive to all, regardless of gender, status, or faith. It adheres to academic standards set by the UGC, Mizoram University, and the Government of Mizoram. Open to collaborations at local, national, and international levels, MCC remains firmly rooted in its mission as a Synod-managed institution
