About The Department
The Department of Management within Mizoram Christian College was established in 2020. The department offers a full-time Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) programme.
Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA)
The full-time BBA is a three-year undergraduate programme comprising of six semesters. The programme is designed to impart knowledge of business management and administration skills through its subjects.
Course Objectives
· Enable young learners to develop a business sense.
· Learn principles and practice of management.
· Equip and enable learners to skills for setting a business.
The BBA programme seeks to provide students with the knowledge, competencies and an integrated set of skills necessary to develop critical, analytical and strong business administration skills essential for building a flourishing career in management and business fields. The programme will provide students with a broad foundation for the study of business and exposure to several business disciplines. It will contribute breadth to the knowledge of business and develop an understanding of multi-disciplinary decision making in organisations.

IBM Global Internship
IBM global internship is one of the most difficult to get and most recognisable internships in the world. LH Zothanmawii, BBA, Department of Management from Mizoram Christian College topped the interview conducted among 10 colleges in Aizawl and placed 1st to be successfully selected as the IBM SkillsBuild Intern.

Activities
Department of Management: Industrial visit to LAILEN Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
On 11th April 2025, the Department of Management, Mizoram Christian College (MCC) organized an industrial visit to LAILEN Consulting Pvt. Ltd., a pioneer IT consultancy and software development firm in Mizoram known for its expertise in strategic business solutions and technology-driven services.
The visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices, providing students with valuable exposure to real-world business operations.
The Department of Management, MCC extends its gratitude to LAILEN Consulting Pvt. Ltd. for their hospitality and for offering such a valuable learning experience. The visit was highly informative and enriching, encouraging students to think beyond textbooks and offering practical insights into the consulting industry, product development, and business startup ecosystem.

Industrial visit to Zopar Exports Pvt. Ltd.
On 15th October 2024, the Department of Management organized an industrial visit to Zopar Exports Pvt. Ltd. farm located at Vaipuanpho, Reiek Road, Mizoram as part of the co-curricular program. The industrial visit provided detailed insight into the fresh flower trade and offered a deep understanding of the intricacies of cultivation, quality control, packaging, logistics, supply chain and the complexities of production and management.
On 15th October 2024, the Department of Management organized an industrial visit to Zopar Exports Pvt. Ltd. farm located at Vaipuanpho, Reiek Road, Mizoram as part of the co-curricular program. The Department of Management visited the Reitlang Organic Producer Company Limited (ROPCO), Reiek as part of their Industrial Visit activity on 30th September 2022 to learn about the company’s turmeric business. The students had a fruitful interactive session with the CEO of the company and the workers and gained valuable first-hand insight into the turmeric business in Mizoram.

The visit included a tour of the state-of-art infrastructure and assembly line and briefing about the processes and operations undertaken by the plant. The industrial visit was an enriching experience which gave students insightful exposure to the industry & manufacturing processes.

Peractio
The department had organised a peractio class for the 6th semester where Ms. Zodinpuii (Councelling Psychologist) was invited to have a special lecture. A fruitful interaction was held during this lecture and the students benefit greatly from it.
