Investor Awareness Programme organized by Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce, Mizoram Christian College successfully conducted an Investor Awareness Programme aimed at enhancing financial literacy and investment awareness among students. The event featured Mr. Samuel Lalthanliana, Assistant Professor at Government Hrangbana College, a certified trainer affiliated with SEBI, NSE, BSE, NISM, and NCFE, as the distinguished Resource Person. The programme was sponsored by SEBI and NSE.

The awareness programme was attended by first-semester students, aligning with their academic curriculum and providing them with practical exposure to investment principles. Through the session, students gained valuable insights into various aspects of investment, including investor protection mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and the importance of informed financial decision-making.
