OFF-CAMPUS CLASS: Department of English

On February 12, 2026, the Department of English organized an Off-campus Class for 6th Semester students at Sumtual, MINECO. The program was designed to provide a unique learning environment, moving beyond the traditional confines of the classroom to create a different educational experience for the students.

The session featured a short talk by Dr. Lawmsangzuali, who addressed the critical theme of Nature Conservation, emphasizing on the strategic utilization of local resources and indigenous knowledge systems.

The talk was followed by interactive academic exercises where students participated in a series of curated educational games and quizzes. These activities were designed as a comprehensive review, covering core syllabus components from the 1st Semester through the current 6th Semester. This interactive format allowed students to test their proficiency.

The off-campus class successfully met its goals, providing the students with a refreshing perspective on their studies while highlighting the importance of environmental consciousness.
