Department of Management CCA: Industrial Visit to Lengpui

On 12th March 2026, the Department of Management organised a two-part curricular programme consisting of an Industrial Visit followed by a Departmental recreational session, both conducted at Lengpui. The programme was designed to provide students with practical industry exposure while also promoting interaction, teamwork, and engagement beyond formal classroom setting.

The first session involved an industrial visit to Lusei Tissue, Lengpui, where the owner-entrepreneurs, Mr. Matthew Lalremsanga and Mr. Reuben Saidingliana, delivered an informative presentation on the establishment, business model, and operations of their enterprise. Students were also given a guided tour of the factory and a demonstration of the machinery used in the tissue manufacturing process, enabling them to gain first-hand insight into industrial production. The entrepreneurs further encouraged students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and explore future business opportunities.

The second session consisted of a departmental recreational programme aimed at fostering team-building, unity, and social interaction among participants. The session created a valuable opportunity for BBA students from different semesters to interact with one another, thereby strengthening interpersonal relationships and promoting a sense of community, cooperation, and teamwork.

Overall, the initiative served as a meaningful blend of academic exposure and recreational engagement, making the day both productive and enjoyable for the participants. The activities contributed to experiential learning and enabled students to gain knowledge and perspectives that extend beyond the conventional classroom environment.
