MCC SPORTS WEEK 2026

Mizoram Christian College observed its Annual Sports Week from 14th to 18th September, 2026.

The opening ceremony was held at YRC, Falkland, where Principal Dr. Tawnenga and Chief Guest Pu S Malsawmtluanga (Footballer) unveiled the Sports Week Banner, marking the inauguration of Sports Week 2026.

In his address, Principal Dr. Tawnenga stressed the importance of self-discipline. Chief Guest Pu S Malsawmtluanga (also known as Mama) emphasized the importance of healthy lifestyle. He challenged the students to abstain from tobacco products and intoxicants, and spoke on the importance of discipline and punctuality. All the House Leaders took an oath under their respective house flag.

The events during the week ranged from indoor to outdoor sports including music and beauty pagent.

The events were held as follows:

- Day 1: YRC, Falkland

- Day 2: Electric Veng Community Hall

- Day 3: Electric Veng Community Hall

- Day 4: Hlimen Playground

- Day 5: Vaivakawn Auditorium cum Cultural Hall
