Mizo Department Off Campus Class: “Kut Hnathawh Inzirtir: Mautuai Khawrh”
The Department of Mizo organised an off-campus class titled "Kut Hnathawh Inzirtir: Mautuai Khawrh" on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The primary objective of this programme was to educate and inspire students to value manual labour by teaching them the traditional methods of harvesting or hunting bamboo shoots in the picturesque areas of Ailawng and Reiek. All faculty members accompanied the group, ensuring guidance and support throughout the activity. The program was both enjoyable and successful, providing students with hands-on experience and fostering greater appreciation for hard work and cultural traditions. Unfortunately, six out of the 29 students were unable to participate in this off-campus class due to unforeseen circumstances. However, the event garnered positive feedback and significantly enhanced the students' educational journey.
