Department of Commerce Off-Campus Class

The Department of Commerce organised an off campus class visit to the Gauhati High Court, Aizawl bench on 21st August 2026. It was organised with a view to provide the students with practical exposure to the functioning of the judicial system.

During the visit, students were taken around the premises by Ms Lalcrossthangi and had a visit to various offices, courtrooms and halls. A major highlight of the visit was the opportunity for the students to observe court hearings which enabled them to gain practical knowledge about the functioning of a High court and awareness of legal environment related to commerce and business.

Court room proceedings lecture was given by Ms RK Lalrinsangi, Advocate.
