Department of Public Administration Off-Campus Class at Aquatic Complex, ITI

The Department of Public Administration, Mizoram Christian College, organised an Off-Campus Class featuring a special lecture on “Water Safety: Drowning Prevention and Risk Reduction” on 25th September 2026 at the Aquatic Complex, ITI Veng. The event was held in light of the rapid increase in water accidents and drowning cases, underscoring the vital importance of water safety education for the students.

Mr. C. Darthantluanga, Instructor and Technical Diver from the Rebreather Association of International Divers, served as the resource person. He delivered insightful instruction on key water safety measures, accompanied by practical demonstrations of essential rescue techniques that participants can actively utilise to prevent and respond to water emergencies.

Faculty members and students of the department attended the programme in full strength. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to our respected Principal, the resource person and the Mizoram Aquatic Association for making this event possible.
