Sensitization Workshop on CUET
As part of the Peractio Course, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Career Guidance & Counselling Cell, successfully conducted a Sensitization Workshop on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for 5th semester students on 25th August 2025 at Room 1.
Dr. Hannah Lalhlanpuii, Assistant Professor, Department of English, served as the Resource Person and provided insightful guidance on the structure, application process, and significance of the CUET examination in shaping academic journeys.
The session also featured alumni speakers - Erin Lalnghilhlovi (Department of English, Batch of 2025) and Lallianpuii Pachuau (Department of Commerce, Batch of 2025) who shared their preparation strategies and personal experiences, offering practical guidance and motivation to current students.
73 final-year students, accompanied by 5 faculty members, participated in the workshop. This workshop marked a meaningful step in empowering students with the knowledge and confidence needed to approach competitive examinations with purpose and preparedness.

Workshop on Effective Methods of Teaching
8th August, 2025, 1:30 PM: In pursuance of the decision taken in the IQAC meeting on 16th July 2025, the IQAC organized a ‘Workshop on Effective Methods of Teaching’ for the faculty members. Prof. Vanlalhruaii, Principal (Retd), IASE, Aizawl, was invited as a resource person. She spoke on several points for improvement in teaching and guiding students, including how to prepare learning design, presentation, teaching methods, questioning levels and styles, managing responses, assignments, and time budgeting. At the end of her speech, there were fruitful interactions and feedback from the faculty. A total of 32 faculty attended the workshop.

Department of Management Off-Campus Class & Special Lecture at Lailen Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.
The Department of Management conducted an Off-Campus Class at Lailen Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. for the 3rd semester students for their 'Principles of Marketing' paper on 24th July 2025. Mr. Lalrinnunga, Head of Business Development engaged the students in various concepts of marketing and its strategies with relevant case studies.

Department of Commerce Off-Campus Class at the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
The Department of Commerce conducted an off campus class for 5th semester students at the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Aizawl Tuikhuahtlang on 6th August 2025 with regards to their paper 'Business Laws'. Court hearings for 5 cases were attended. Students had insightful experiences on how grievances and disputes are handled by the consumer court.
