Dept. of Mizo IPC Tour & OFF CAMPUS CLASS

On September 25 and 26, 2026, the Mizo Department’s fifth-semester students and teachers visited Sialsuk Hill and the local village for a field project and an off-campus class.

For their field project, the students investigated Sialsuk village's history, interviewed villagers, and studied the contributions of prominent literary figures, including Lalṭanpuia, Vankhama, and James Dokhuma. During an evening session on Sialsuk Hill, the class explored Mizo astronomy, environmental conservation, and patriotism. On the morning of September 26, the group organized a cleanliness initiative, clearing plastic waste and debris from the area.
