IQAC Collaborates with EIACP for Student Awareness on Environment

18th July 2025: The IQAC in collaboration with Environment Information Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme (EIACP), Mizoram Pollution Control Board, organized Environment Awareness and Sensitization Program for all third semester students. Er. Benjamin Lalnunsanga Colney, Programme Officer, EIACP was the resource person. The event was followed by light refreshments.

Dt. 11th July 2025: The Art & Music Club, along with other clubs, organized registration/membership drive in the college, by performing musical pieces and showcasing art and craft made by the member students. As many as 79 students, from across the semesters, signed up for the club.

NSS Unit of Mizoram Christian College Conducts Tree Plantation Programme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Mizoram Christian College organized a "Tree Plantation Programme" on 19th July 2025 at the College Main Campus, Tanhril, Aizawl. The initiative was part of the college's ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.

During the event, more than 20 saplings were planted in and around the college campus. A dedicated team of 15 NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme, contributing their efforts towards creating a greener and healthier environment.

The programme aimed to raise awareness about the importance of trees in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and improving air quality. Faculty members and college staff also appreciated the volunteers for their enthusiastic participation and sense of responsibility towards nature.

Through such initiatives, the NSS Unit continues to inspire students to take meaningful action for the environment and become responsible citizens.
