The Mizoram Christian College ICT Cell visited LAILEN Consulting Pvt Ltd on 13th August 2025 for a constructive discussion on enhancing the MCC website. We look forward to continued collaboration towards improved digital services.

8th August, 2025, 1:30 PM: In pursuance of the decision taken in the IQAC meeting on 16th July 2025, the IQAC organized a ‘Workshop on Effective Methods of Teaching’ for the faculty members. Prof. Vanlalhruaii, Principal (Retd), IASE, Aizawl, was invited as a resource person. She spoke on several points for improvement in teaching and guiding students, including how to prepare learning design, presentation, teaching methods, questioning levels and styles, managing responses, assignments, and time budgeting. At the end of her speech, there were fruitful interactions and feedback from the faculty. A total of 32 faculty attended the workshop.

The Department of Management conducted an Off-Campus Class at Lailen Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. for the 3rd semester students for their 'Principles of Marketing' paper on 24th July 2025. Mr. Lalrinnunga, Head of Business Development engaged the students in various concepts of marketing and its strategies with relevant case studies.

The Department of Commerce conducted an off campus class for 5th semester students at the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Aizawl Tuikhuahtlang on 6th August 2025 with regards to their paper 'Business Laws'. Court hearings for 5 cases were attended. Students had insightful experiences on how grievances and disputes are handled by the consumer court.

The Department of Sociology, Mizoram Christian College, organized a felicitation programme on the 8th of August, 2025, in honour of Mr. Lalfakzuala, a 3rd Semester student of Sociology, for his outstanding achievement in the Zohandco Inter-College Quiz Competition 2025, where he secured the First Prize. As a mark of recognition and appreciation for his excellence, the department presented him with a token of ₹1000/-.
